Workplace Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Workshop & Guided Meditation
This workshop explores a mindfulness-based approach to managing stress. Participants will learn how to recognise their unique stressors, spot the early warning signs of stress and learn how to take agency over their stress response early on before things escalate.
Participants will learn when the critical time is that we can step in and alter the play of events in stressful moments, by using a more helpful and mindful approach. The workshop also explores a few different meditation exercises, so participants can experiment and get to know which meditations suit them best to help manage stress in their day-to-day lives.
This workshop includes:
- A grounding meditation to begin
- Introduction to what Mindfulness is
- Explanation of the stress cycle and its steps – including when we can step in and alter the play of events, so our stress responses become more mindful and helpful
- Simple breath-work exercise to help elicit calm when needed
- Longer meditation to finish, including a guided full-body relaxation technique
- A take-home Mindfulness Information & Helpsheet
The Expert
This workshop is led by a fully accredited Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction practitioner. Her diploma is recognised by the professional body of mindfulness teachers in Ireland. She most recently trained with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation and chose this particular pathway into mindfulness as it’s a rigorously peer-reviewed, researched pathway with proven benefits. She is a wonderfully calming meditation leader, guaranteed to leave everyone feeling super relaxed.
We also offer an 8-session programme to explore this topic in full detail. The programme helps create a lasting change in the habits of participants. It gives them the tools and techniques needed to make mindfulness a way of life.
