Financial Wellbeing

1-1 sessions

We offer 1-1 financial wellbeing sessions for your team members with an independent financial advisor. This session lasts up to 1 hour per employee and is tailored to the interests and concerns of the individual.

This is a completely confidential and judgement-free session, where individuals can ask questions they may have been too shy to ask before, or found too daunting to try to understand. Whether it is help to understand more about the world of finances, specific advice on a topic of interest, or advice for seasoned investors, our financial advisor can adjust accordingly.

Examples of topics commonly explored are:

  • Retirement planning, including review of pension contribution levels
  • Mortgage advice, remortgaging, second home and buy-to-let information
  • Protection and personal insurance plans on life, income protection, critical illness cover etc.
  • Tax allowance explanations, tax optimisation and inheritance tax
  • Savings options and advice, including long-term investing for the future
  • Help understanding information on payslips

Prior to any 1-1 sessions with staff, we conduct a briefing session with the appropriate person to understand company benefits in full, such as pension information, salary sacrifice options, life insurance benefits etc.

Financial Wellbeing Workshops

Any combination of the topics listed above can be tailored into a workshop format. We also offer a Financial Wellbeing workshop, which explores our emotional relationship with money. Participants will learn tools and techniques that help them make sound financial decisions, including the small day-to-day ones, so these align with longer-term financial goals.

We also offer a Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) workshop to explore the warning signs of financial abuse and how to potentially help someone who may be experiencing this, by safely and discreetly signposting them to the right experts.
