Financial Wellbeing
1-1 Financial Advice Sessions
We offer 1-1 financial advice sessions for your team members with an expert financial advisor. We typically recommend 30mins sessions per employee with conversation tailored to the interests and concerns of the individual.
This is a completely confidential and judgement-free session, where individuals can ask questions they may have been too shy to ask before, or found too daunting to try to understand. Whether it is help to understand more about the world of finances, specific advice on a topic of interest, or advice for seasoned investors, our financial advisor can adjust accordingly.
Examples of topics commonly explored are:
- Retirement planning, including review of pension contribution levels. Our advisor can use a calculator to show how small changes in contributions can accumulate over time to help achieve the pension pot and retirement age desired.
- Mortgage advice, including explaining how purchasing a property works, the terms involved, advice on how to save for a deposit and signposting to mortgage brokers
- Remortgaging, buying a second home and buy-to-let investment information
- Protection and personal insurance on life, income protection and critical illness cover etc.
- Tax allowance explanation, tax optimisation and inheritance tax
- Savings options and investments
- Cash flow modelling
Prior to any 1-1 sessions with staff, we conduct a briefing session with the appropriate person to understand your company benefits in full, such as pension information, salary sacrifice options, life insurance benefits etc.
Financial Wellbeing Workshops
Any combination of the topics listed above can be tailored into a workshop format. We also offer a Financial Wellbeing workshop, which explores our emotional relationship with money. Participants will learn tools and techniques that help them make sound financial decisions, including the small day-to-day ones, so these align with longer-term financial goals.
We also offer a Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) workshop to explore the warning signs of financial abuse and how to potentially help someone who may be experiencing this, by safely and discreetly signposting them to the right experts.
