Mental Health Check-in Days (Counsellor led)
Workplace Mental Health Check-in days are an extremely effective and practical way to support the mental health of your team members. Counselling support is not only for times of crisis, but can also help you navigate through the myriad of life’s day-to-day challenges and concerns, before things escalate and become overwhelming. It’s also a useful option for times when you’re feeling a little flat, but not quite sure why.
There is no need to wait until the breaking point. In fact, early intervention and regular check-ins can prove an optimal way to manage mental health and it’s an approach we highly recommend to our corporate clients.
Our Mental Health Check-in days allow your team members to pop in and speak to a qualified, BACP registered, local counsellor. Participants don’t necessarily need to have a certain concern in mind and the format can be seen as an all-staff, informal check-in service. This method works well to reduce any stigma and encourage people who may have reservations, or wouldn’t ordinarily go down the counselling route, to talk confidentially and discreetly. It’s a great way for your team members to explore counselling as an option to support their mental health. More often than not, people say they only wish they started sooner.
Our expert counsellors are local to Northern Ireland. This is because we believe in face-to-face delivery where possible, with someone you can quickly build trust and rapport with.
